Huge interest in KPO funds. There wasn't enough for everyone


The acceptance of applications for funds for the energy transformation ended on October 15. The process of their evaluation is currently underway, a the contracts are to be concluded no later than August 31, 2026. However, the funds may be spent at a later date.

BGK had a budget of PLN 96.1 billion, most of which consisted of loans. Non-repayable support, in the amount of PLN 2.1 billion, was allocated exclusively to investments related to hydrogen technologies.

So far, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego signed contracts worth nearly PLN 82 billion. Prof. Marta Postuła, first vice-president of the management board of BGK, assured that all available funds would be distributed. As part of the Energy Support Fund, six contracts worth nearly PLN 61 billion were signed, which include the construction and modernization of power grids with a total length of approximately 147,000 km. km.
