Claudiu Rotar, financier of the FC Hermannstadt club, believes that coach Marius Măldărășanu is to blame for the difficult situation in which the team finds itself.

The Sibiu group lost on Monday on the field of the leader FC Botoșani, score 0-2, and is in 15th place in the ranking, penultimate, with only 10 points after 14 stages.

Claudiu Rotar, warning for Marius Măldărășanu: “If the black streak continues, we cannot wait indefinitely”

“Măldărășanu is the main culprit for the crisis we are going through. At Botoșani, he made several changes in the team, he replaced the whole midfielder. And at halftime, when he saw that it wasn't working, he made three changes. I couldn't believe it when I saw the first 11.

The coach was the first to know that we are not a big club, where many of the reserves are at the level of the starters. And if you still want to give the second line a chance, do it in matches with more modest teams, not when you play against the leader.

We have a Cup match on Thursday, with Concordia, then we play two matches at home, with Oțelul, on November 2, and FCSB, a week later. We're still patient, but if the black streak continues, we can't wait forever. At some point, I and the other shareholder, Ștefan Băcilă, will sit down at the table and make a decision,” said Rotar, according to gsp.ro.

FC Hermannstadt has lost six of the last seven games played in the SuperLiga, the only victory in this period being achieved on the field of Rapid, score 2-1, on September 21, in the 10th stage.
