Gigi Becali (67 years old), the owner of FCSB, was fined by the Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF). The financier of the red-blues was complained to the Central Commission of Referees, because of some offensive statements.
Becali had declared about Sebastian Colțescu and Ovidiu Hațegan, among others, after CFR – FCSB, in the 8th stage of the Superliga: “They are already crazy, they have something wrong with them. Let them go to the hospital.”
The request signed by Kyros Vassaras reached the table of the Disciplinary Commission of the FRF. There were several postponements, and on Monday, October 27, the Disciplinary Committee made its decision.

On August 31, CFR and FCSB finished tied, score 2-2, in stage 8 of the Superliga.
Sebastian Colțescu – Ovidiu Hațegan was the couple who officiated from the position of central – VAR referee at the CFR Cluj – FCSB derby. The champion's financier also received a warning.
Admits referral to the Central Commission of Referees. Pursuant to art. 12, 14 Bis and 15 related to art. 52/2/b and 4 of the RD of the FRF, the defendant Becali George is sanctioned with a Warning and a penalty of 5,000 lei.

Becali claimed then that FCSB should have received two shots from 11 meters. The first, after a hench made by Păun, and the second after Denis Alibec was pulled by Matei Ilie's shirt.
