Vinci, an investment company from the BGK group, managing venture capital and private equity funds, intends to invest PLN 1.1 billion in 50 Polish companies – according to the company's announcement on Monday.


Vinci, an investment company from the BGK group, managing venture capital and private equity funds, has completed work on a new strategy for 2026-2030 – according to the company's announcement on Monday. The company received PLN 1.1 billion of capital from BGK.
“Vinci will focus on companies in the so-called growth phase. The object of our interest are already operating innovative Polish companies that need capital for ambitious development,” said Bartosz Drabikowski, president of Vinci, quoted in the release.
The president stated that the funds received from BGK will allow for investments in approximately 50 innovative Polish companies.
“I hope that our investments will mobilize private funds to be more active, thanks to which a total of 100-150 ambitious growth companies will receive capital for development. The total scale of co-financing for innovative projects, from public and private funds, may reach several billion zlotys,” said the head of Vinci.
The company announced that its interests include companies operating in the field of space technologies, security and cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, robotization, sports, health, agriculture, etc. The announcement shows that the company has already invested, among others: into the manufacturer of underwater robots SR Robotics, the manufacturer of lasers Fluence Technology, or the company using artificial intelligence in sports ReSpo.Viosion.
The condition for the investment is that entities that use Vinci's support have their engineering, competence, operational and management centers located in Poland. (PAP)
