US night operation against smugglers. Success without any losses

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced that the operation was carried out on the orders of President Donald Trump. The attack targeted a ship belonging to Tren de Aragua (TdA), an organization considered terrorist and involved in drug smuggling. The unit was traveling along a known smuggling route in the Caribbean Sea, in international waters.
According to Hegseth, it was the first night operation of its kind. There were six men on board the ship who died in the attack. American forces recorded no losses among their soldiers.
A new strategy for combating drug smuggling
In his social media post, Pete Hegseth emphasized that SThe United States treats drug smugglers with the same severity as terrorist organizations. He stressed that people involved in drug smuggling in the American hemisphere will be treated as Al-Qaeda. Hegseth added that American services are able to identify, track and eliminate people involved in this type of activity both during the day and at night.
The attack in the Caribbean Sea is part of a broader United States strategy that assumes decisive action against criminal groups involved in drug smuggling. Recently, the American army has already carried out several similar operations aimed at limiting the activities of organizations considered terrorist.
Increased activities in international waters
The Caribbean Sea has been one of the main drug smuggling routes to the United States for many years. Organizations such as Tren de Aragua use these routes to transport illegal substances, which poses a serious challenge for American services. The latest attack shows that the US is ready to take decisive steps to counter such threats.
The American authorities emphasize that they will continue actions against drug smugglers and terrorist organizations that threaten the country's security.
