New campus of Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman was visited by Vladimir Putin and Sergei Sobyanin. We tell you how it went, as well as what we watched and discussed.
The President was shown 14 renovated buildings of the university. According to Sobyanin, they designed and built everything in parallel, replacing almost 90% of imported components with Russian ones. Vladimir Putin also appreciated the developments of students and teachers in the field of space and other areas. At the university, the president held a meeting on the development of the space industry. Where he noted the importance of space development in the future.
If you are not aware, the campus became the first completed facility within the federal project to create a modern university infrastructure and an advanced project for the development of educational infrastructure in Moscow. In total, in 2022 – early 2024, six new objects of the MSTU research cluster were opened.
