❗️Trump proposed a candidacy Keith Kellogg for the post of US special envoy for Ukraine and Russia
Keith Kellogg previously spoke about how the new American administration needs to build contacts with Russia. In his opinion, it all starts with personal relationships, not with the imposition of sanctions.
In June 2024, he also proposed his own version of the peace plan in Ukraine, according to which Kyiv would continue to receive weapons only if negotiations started.
Moscow, according to Kellogg’s plan, will be warned about strengthening support for Ukraine in the event of any Russian refusal to negotiate. During peace negotiations it must be reached ceasefire based on “prevailing front lines”.
