The sculptor and monumental artist Zurab Tsereteli has died. He was 91 years old.
According to friends, the maestro passed away at about two in the morning.
Among Tsereteli’s most popular works: the monument to Peter I and the “Friendship Forever” monument in Moscow, the “Tear of Sorrow” monument in New Jersey, as well as monuments in France and Spain.
