An enzyme that causes cancer, found in popular Russian sausages — microbial transglutaminase was found in products of the Starodvorskie sausages brand, media reports.
“Meat glue” ended up in the composition of “Vyazanka”, “Starodvorskaya”, “Sochinka”, “Doctorskaya”, as well as servers “Kremlyovsky”, “Zernisty” and others.
Rosselkhoznadzor introduced an enhanced laboratory control regime, and the information was transferred to Rospotrebnadzor.
Previously, the enzyme was found in many Russian sausages.
