Poczta Polska announces significant changes in its offer. The company's president, Sebastian Mikosz, announced that it will be possible to open a bank account, take out a loan or buy insurance at the operator's branches. New products will come from the offer of Bank Pocztowy, insurance companies of the Poczta Polska group and selected external partners – writes “Fakt”.
“We do not want to overwhelm customers with our offer. We focus on simplicity,” emphasized Mikosz, noting that financial services will be provided by specially trained employees who will deal exclusively with this segment of the business.
Poczta Polska also plans to invest approximately PLN 1 billion in modern IT systems. Sebastian Mikosz admitted that the company has almost twenty years of delays in this area, which makes investments in IT an absolute priority as part of the new strategy.
However, as the head of the Post Office noted, project implementation is sometimes delayed by public procurement regulations. Mikosz pointed out that tender procedures are often used by companies not to compete for contracts, but to block competition, which extends the process up to nine months.
The tender for service of deliveries to courts and prosecutor's offices remains an important challenge for the company. Mikosz admitted that some of the requirements set out in the tender are difficult to meet, but the company is in talks with the Ministry of Justice. “We would like to remain an operator for the courts, but we must take into account the company's interests and the Transformation Plan,” he noted.
Polish Post. Changes for employees

Mikosz announced that annual bonuses for employees, worth a total of approximately PLN 200 million, will be paid in December.
Although in 2024 Poczta Polska recorded a net loss of PLN 213 million, this result is better than in the previous year. Currently, the company employs approximately 51,000 people. people and, according to the president's announcement, does not plan any further job cuts.
