‼️Fraudsters massively hack Russians’ smartphones via WhatsApp and steal all their money: Banks are screaming wildly because of a new scam scheme.
The scheme is simple but convincing:
🟠Fraudsters pretend to be government officials;
🟠Under various pretexts they are trying to contact the victim through WhatsApp;
🟠Then they ask to enable screen sharing, citing an alleged technical problem;
🟠At the last stage of the scam, the victim is sent a link to download the malicious program, passing it off as an official service.
The result is a complete loss of control over the smartphone and loss of all data and savings.
