Several hundred Russians are complaining that the tour operator Biblio-Globus cheated them out of their May holidays in Tunisia. Instead, people were offered to pay extra and go to Sochi, or stay home altogether.
The company lured travelers by promising to open a new destination from April 26. A day before the start, travel agents received letters with information that Express Airline had canceled flights to Tunisia, which means there would be no trips. At the same time, Biblio-Globus removed all tours to Tunisia from the site.
Muscovite Natalya paid 180k in February for a tour departing on April 30th. Now she was offered to pay at least 60k extra for Sochi, Turkey, Egypt or Dubai, or wait a week and a half for a refund.
