ANM announces a week with large temperature differences, including in the Capital. When and where “significant growth” is expected

The forecasting director of the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), Florinela Georgescu, told Digi24 on Sunday that in Bucharest “it is not excluded that the temperature will drop to 0 degrees” on Monday morning, but in the second part of the week there will be “over 20 degrees” in thermometers.
“There are two very cold nights ahead in the whole country, especially in Transylvania, in the eastern part of Transylvania, in depressions, tomorrow morning and possibly during the night from Monday to Tuesday, the temperatures will drop to -8 degrees, -4 to 0 degrees in the rest of Transylvania, in Banat, in Crișana, in Maramureș. Temperatures around 0 degrees in most of Moldova, but also in the southern part of the country temperatures that will not generally exceed 2-4 degrees”, said Florinela Georgescu.
She said that, on Monday morning, in the northern part of Bucharest, “it is not excluded that the temperature will drop to 0 degrees”.
“Throughout tomorrow, temperatures comparable to what we had today, still below normal for this period, generally 8 to 17 degrees, then from Tuesday the temperatures will gradually start to rise. A noticeable increase is expected from Thursday onwards, when in the southern part of the country it is possible that the maximums will reach 25, maybe 26 degrees, so we can go very quickly, in a few days, from very cold weather to one with slightly warm temperatures over the normal of the period”, continued the directorate of forecasting of the ANM.
Florinela Georgescu said that, starting on Tuesday, only “light rains” will occur, in limited areas, in the western and central regions of the country.
“A beautiful weather in the Capital. I told you that two colder nights, tonight and tomorrow night, after which the increase in temperature will be a noticeable one. If tomorrow the maximum will probably stop somewhere at 15-16 degrees, from Thursday onwards temperatures above 20 degrees”, she also declared.
