The techno party was broken up by security forces at the St. Petersburg club Kontrkult. Previously, ravers were checked for the presence of drugs.
According to the visitors of the party, all the fun ended at 01:30 – about 20 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs entered the club. “It’s the end of the party, they kicked everyone out,” witnesses commented on what happened. Some of them were taken away in paddy wagons. The event had to be curtailed, and the surviving sausage makers left to continue the party in other clubs.
That evening, a large rave took place at Kontrkult – almost 250 people came to it. There were no tickets sold at the entrance.
