The cost of freight rail in Ukraine exceeded EU tariffs.
According to the OP Ukrmetalurgromi, the delivery of ore by the Ukrzaliznytsia wagons to the Polish border costs $ 13.9/t, while transportation through Poland to the port of Gdansk – $ 12.3/t.
An even greater difference is observed on the route through Slovakia: $ 16.5/t in Ukraine against $ 10.1/ton.
Industrialists emphasize that after raising the tariffs in 2022, Ukrainian logistics lost its competitiveness, and this has already directly affected the export economy.
