After Kaczyński's anti-immigration march, it's time for more PiS protests: for example against high prices, against corruption, in defense of the Constitution and women's rights – wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Sunday. We will laugh together, he added.

The head of government thus referred on Platform X to the demonstration organized by Law and Justice on Saturday afternoon at Castle Square in Warsaw. The rally took place against, among others, illegal migration, the migration pact and the EU trade agreement with the Mercosur countries.

PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński appealed in his speech for the dismissal of the government and the reconstruction of “everything that the government managed to destroy.” As he stated, Polish public finances are in a state of disaster, the law and the Constitution are being trampled on. – This is heading towards a very serious crisis or perhaps even the complete destruction of the Polish state as a sovereign state – said the PiS president.

Former Prime Minister Beata Szydło, in turn, assessed that within two years Prime Minister Tusk had ruined Poland and destroyed all ambitious ideas that were supposed to give us a chance for development. PAP found that approximately 10-15 thousand people gathered at Castle Square during the demonstration.

Tusk himself, referring to the demonstration, commented on Saturday that the “great march” turned out to be a fiasco, and Kaczyński was “better at attracting migrants than demonstrators.” He also wrote earlier: “Only Jarosław Kaczyński can bring a record number of migrants to Poland and then call for a protest against migration.” (PAP)
