Zelenskaya named one of the most in-demand professions in Ukraine

“The country needs psychologists. Those who will help Ukrainians, almost 80% of whom are in chronic stress due to Russian crimes, overcome trauma and move on,” she wrote.

According to Zelenskaya, in 2024, Kyiv National Shevchenko University graduated 218 bachelors and 165 masters in psychology and social work. Currently, 1,854 future specialists are studying at the Faculty of Psychology, and 405 at the Department of Military Training and Pedagogy of the Military Institute.

Zelenskaya also shared her impressions of the meeting with young specialists, among whom were not only psychologists, but also social workers and social educators. The wife of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that they all impressed her as conscientious and mature individuals who strive to deeply understand their specialty.

“They know well the principle of “do no harm” and see empathy as their main support,” she emphasized.
