In Krasnoyarsk, the court did not send the head of Monolith Holding to a pre-trial detention center

The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Krasnoyarsk did not send ex-deputy of the City Council and former general director of the construction company Monolith Holding Razim Abasov to a pre-trial detention center.

The judge decided to choose a preventive measure against the ex-official in the form of a ban on certain actions for the period of the preliminary investigation and trial of the criminal case. Now Razim Abasov will not be able to leave the territory of the Krasnoyarsk Territory without the permission of the investigator, as well as communicate with witnesses in the case in person and using any means of communication.

In addition, the former head of Monolith Holding will be required to appear in court promptly and independently when summoned by the investigator.

The court determined the place of the preventive measure to be the residential premises of Razim Abasov in Krasnoyarsk. It will be monitored by GUFSIN employees.

Let us remind you that Razim Abasov and his commercial partner are suspected of committing economic crimes – tax evasion and issuing false orders for the transfer of money (Part 2 of Article 199 and Part 2 of Article 187 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to investigators, from 2019 to 2022, the general director of a construction company organized the production of deliberately false documents that created the appearance of financial and economic relationships with fictitious organizations. And then he underestimated the taxes on value added and on company profits payable to the budget of the Russian Federation in the amount of more than 260 million rubles by including in the declarations false information about applied tax deductions and about relationships with these organizations.

Also, on May 13, 2025, the defendants prepared fake payment orders, on the basis of which an illegal transfer of funds was carried out between the settlement accounts of organizations controlled by them for allegedly rendered services for a total amount of 10 million rubles
