He reached the counter and then on the sidewalk.

A few seconds of inattention and the life of a family in Cluj was brought to the threshold of despair, when Eduard was struggling for his life in neurosurgery with a severe cranio-cerebral trauma and a prognosis of the doctors reserved.

The drama of the Balogh family became known to several Cluj two days ago when a blood donation call was made:

Eduárd Balogh is currently in the intensive care of pediatric neurosurgery (ATI neurosurgery) and needs urgent blood (A2).

Any blood group donor can help!

Please mention the name Eduard Balogh (“admitted to your neurosurgery”) when you donate blood “the close ones transmitted.

The message reached thousands of Cluj and was redistributed on social networks. The football clubs in the city, right on the FB page of the University of Cluj – RIVALA CFR, club where the boy was doing football – the message was redistributed. The press also transmitted the help message.

“We stayed four hours with hundreds of people at the Transfusion Center in Cluj, to donate blood”

Mobilization for blood donation from the coming days was impressive. “I lived one of the most beautiful feelings of waiting today. We stayed four hours with hundreds of people at the Transfusion Center in Cluj, to donate blood. In four hours, no one was crying, expected, procedures. There's something never encountered for me. We were people from 7 half that we were sitting at 11 with forms in my hand to enter the room. No one was crying! Go tomorrow, to the town hall at the population records and see what is half an hour, if you have no idea what I'm talking about! Or to finance. In any institution. At the post office, at the hospital, anywhere“, Wrote on Facebook one of those who donated, journalist Cătălin Suciu.

He described the scene from the hall that was carrying the donation room:

“There were a few in front of me, and the lady behind the jam wrote with the pen in a notebook in which we were writing through the small classes and asked everyone:

– “Eduard, right?”

-Eduard Balogh, the answer was coming.

Some were looking at the phone to be sure it was the right name. Then they said where the child was admitted. The lady knew.

The following no longer asked, to go faster. The back announced: “We, too! Eduard! Go to all” “

“Today it was sublime. People, in general, are capable of the biggest misfortunes, but over extent they can overturn the natural order by doing great things for other people, when they are united by a cause they embrace with the heart.”concluded Cătălin Suciu.

A call that moved an entire city

The result was over expectations.

“We are grateful to all those who have participated in the last days in the blood donation campaign organized in the interest of Eduard Balogh. Due to the unity of the community, more blood donations have been received than the necessary, which was of extraordinary helpr, “said the Association of Parents from the school where he was teaching the boy. They asked people to donate for the employee at the ambulance injured in an accident.

A small gesture can make the difference between the life and death of a child. “When a 12 -year -old child, Eduard Balogh, was hit on the sidewalk, on Avram Iancu street, Cluj was aroused. A simple call, put on Facebook, moved an entire city – and then a country ”, concluded one of those who donated.
