The new Nissan Tekton has many similarities to Dacia Duster, especially at the design level. Nissan and Renault are two associated brands, and together they have created a common interior architecture for all models called CMF-B.
This family also belongs to the Duster model, as well as the Tekton model, so that in terms of interior components will be similar, according to Carscoop.com.
“In essence, Tekton is a rebranded version of Dacia Duster, which will also be sold in India under the Renault logo. It has the same structure in mirrors and hood, even if it has the new Nissan. It also has a sharp details. Also, the profile sheet is common with the Dacia SUV, even if the Japanese car has new rims.”the Americans wrote.
The car would be fine in two engines, according to the quoted source: 1.0 with turbine or 1.3 simple, the same from the next model of Dacia Duster. The hood is one similar to the Romanian model, as well as the sheet in the car's profile.
The front has elements of the specific Nissan: “C” LED headlights and chrome inserts on the grid. Also, the front and rear metal inserts are again specific to the Nissan brand. The Japanese manufacturer also added side air intakes and special LEDs for stops. According to the quoted source, the dimensions of the car are still unknown, but would be close to the 4.3 meters that the Dacia Duster model has.
On the interior design side, Nissan still retains the suspense and has not revealed too much of the technologies that the new SUV will have. The company only transmitted that the new Tekton model will benefit from “a premium interior” and “advanced technology”.
The main competitors are Dacia Duster, Hyundai Crete, Suzuki Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigon, Honda Educe and Skoda Kushaq.
