Krasnoyarsk climber, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region, Alexei Kulesh, expressed his opinion on the tragedy in Kuturchina.

Alexey Kulesh recalled that the search for a family from Zheleznogorsk has not yet been given a result, although they have been going on for almost a week. He noted that more and more often the question arises of how this could happen in the area popular among tourists.

“The answer lies in the question itself: The popularity of the district gives rise to a sense of safety, lightness and ease of walking in beautiful places. The feeling is deceptive and very dangerous. Any route in such a place, in the taiga, in the mountains, even if this is a weekend route, requires indispensable compliance with the basic rules, ”said Alexei Kulesh.

He explained that all participants in the campaigns in such places should have good physical training. Ideally, people should be equal by endurance and the ability to move according to a complex relief: in the area of ​​Kuturchinsky Belogorye, almost all routes with steep climbs and descents, Bourlomeh and Kurumnik.

You can go on a hike only in the corresponding weather clothes and shoes. There should be a reserve in the backpack, which will allow, if necessary, change clothes, matches for breeding a fire, a supply of food. You also need to clearly understand where you can get water and how to protect the camp.

In such a area, it is important to have navigation products-a navigator, a card or a GPS tracker-and be able to use them. We need communications, including reserve. It can be radio stations, satellite phones, avalanche bippers that will allow you to transmit information and find a person in case of misfortune. It is important to ensure passive safety conditions – to warn loved ones, friends or acquaintances in advance when you get in touch and who should raise the alarm.

Going to the place where wild animals can be, you need to take means of scrupery with you. It can be crackers, hunter signals, false faces. It is also important to have a basic and special first -aid kit with you, to be able to use and provide first aid, including resuscitation.

“These are basic and far from complete safety conditions in the most simple campaigns in a deserted area and in the absence of communication,” said Alexei Kulesh.
