The Bucharest Auto Show 2025: World Car of the Year, electric premieres and drift shows – everything you need to know
Motors run to the maximum, the spotlights and the latest innovations in the world of mobility: the Bucharest Auto Show 2025 transform the Capital, between 7 and 12 October, in the center of the car and motorcycle in Romania.

In the B2 Pavilion in Romexpo and the adjacent outer area, over 400 models of car and motorcycle and 1,500 brand accessories and equipment have a meeting at the most important car event.
For six days, the Bucharest Auto Show & Accessories 2025 becomes a real show of mobility (See photo gallery). The edition with the number 22 gathers in one place, on an area of over 37,000 square meters, exhibitors from all over the world that bring to the fore national premiere, state-of-the-art technologies and long-awaited launches. The program is completed by workshops, conferences dedicated to the future of the automotive industry and special events that emphasize the direct experience of visitors.
The atmosphere will be animated by SAB Arena Motorsport, where by Romanian pilots will demonstrate the talent in front of the public through drift competitions and spectacular demonstrations, turning every weekend day into an adrenaline show.
“Prepare for an unforgettable automotive experience,” I say the organizers about SAB 2025, announced as the point of attraction of the entire car industry in Romania.

Ticket prices and access to the Bucharest Auto Show 2025
Access to this year's event costs 80 lei, and children under 7 years old and people with disabilities benefit from free entry. Tickets can be purchased online or directly from the entrance.
The organizers recommend the use of public transport to avoid the agglomeration and works in the Piata Presei Libere area. On the official website of the event is available the full list of bus, tram and trolleybus lines that reach Romexpo.
Program and events at the Bucharest Auto Show 2025
The event begins on Tuesday, October 7, at 12:00, and will take place daily until Sunday, October 12th. The visiting program is between 10:00 and 19:00, except for the first day (Tuesday, 12:00 – 19:00) and the last day (Sunday, 10:00 – 18:00).
During this period, Pavilion B2, one of the most modern structures of the Romexpo complex, becomes, next to the outer area, the zero point of the auto-motorious passion.
Visitors will have conferences, product presentations, round tables with live experts and demonstrations. The program also includes unique activities, such as remote control carriers, and the street food is completing the experience, turning the visit into a perfect outing for the whole family.
Models exposed to the Salon Auto București 2025
At the Bucharest Auto Show 2025, the variety and innovation are at home. Visitors will be able to discover both the latest electric and hybrid trends, as well as classic or performing models, presented by international renowned producers. Whether you are passionate about technology, futuristic design or driving experience, each stand promises a captivating foray into the mobility universe.
Electric and hybrid patterns
The edition stars are electrical and hybrid models like Kia Ev3, designated “World Car of the Year 2025”a compact SUV with an impressive 605 kilometer autonomy, and Kia Ev4, presented for the first time in Romania, a 100% electric model that combines futuristic and performance design, with 620 kilometers. Visitors will also be able to discover Kia Sportage and Kia Stonic models, hybrid and SUV landmarks.
The MG range brings HS Hybrid+and ZS Hybrid+SUVs, along with the MG3 Hybrid+compact, vehicles that combine efficiency with performance and fit both in the city and on long roads.
At the same time, the consecrated brands-BMW, Mini, Mercedes, Subaru, Corvette and Ineos-have exposed the models in a space dedicated to performance and innovation.
SUVs and sturdy pick-ups
Ford offers a complete presentation from electric vehicles and urban SUVs such as Bronco, Ranger, Puma and Kuga, to the legendary Mustang, and Honda comes with auto-motorious models and innovative technologies.
Isuzu D-Max and Maxus T60 Max Sepament of Robust Pick-Up, each with premium features and powerful engines, Maxus being presented as the new “Horse of burden” with bi-turbo engine.
Two other Chinese brands-DFSK and SWM-will present SUVs and family vehicles that are gaining more and more land on the European market, relying on a competitive price-draft report.
Brands and patterns that have written history
There are no missing brands that have written history on the international market, from Jeep and Toyota to Ssangyong, with a model such as Tivoli, Korando, Torres and Rexton. In Toyota, visitors will discover the range, from innovative hybrid technology, to the versatility of SUVs and sedan elegance, but also electrical solutions such as BZ4X and ProCe City Electric.
The models confirm are Alfa Romeo Junior, Fiat 600, Fiat Grande Panda, Hyundai Kona Electric, the new Tucson Phev, Jeep Avenger, Leapmotor C10 Reev, Mitsubishi Asx, Mitsubishi Outlander, Suzuki Avoidra, as well SUV-premium and premium and premium SCX8. Spacious stands and equipped with state -of -the -art technology.
Theme and diversity of models
The SAB 2025 theme covers the entire mobility palette: city cars, SUVs, light and heavy commercial vehicles, hybrid and electric vehicles, motorcycles, accessories, components and equipment for services and charging stations.
In total, over 400 models, of futuristic electric concept in sports and utility cars, can be admired and tested, transforming the event into a mobility and innovation festival.
Innovations and Accessories to Auto Salon Bucharest 2025
SAB 2025 also brings spectacular technological innovations. Visitors will be able to interact directly with representatives and discover the first quick charging solution with integrated storage, 100% supplied with green energy, ideal for electric vehicles. At the same time, the self-adaptive gearbox with only three steps will be presented, compatible with thermal, electric and hybrid cars, a Romanian invention awarded on the SAB Stock Exchange.
Other innovations include equipment for car service, ITP lines, braking systems testing devices, headlight adjustment, car elevators and decelerometers, but also safety solutions that stop the fires quickly and clean, without dirt.
Also, at the SAB 2025 will be presented a trunk box that can offer at 300 liters of additional space, along with bicycles, ski and transverse bars, practical and sustainable solutions for urban transport and weekend adventures.
Driftes and vintage cars at the Bucharest Auto Salon 2025
In the entertainment area, the fans will be able to compete with the RC cars Formula e-Mini, on a special arranged track, and at the SAB Arena Motorsport, between 10 and 12 October, dozens of professional pilots will provide a show with drifts, skill exercises and powerful demonstrations.
For car history lovers, the vintage vehicle club organizes a unique car exhibition, with models such as Fiat 1938, Topolino 1948 and Fiat X1/9, offering a rare opportunity to see historical cars in impeccable condition.
