How much our area exists, the same problem exists to settle it. Just at different times, this task was solved in different ways. When people were lured with romance and fogs, when they simply explained the party and other necessity, when they promised a “long” ruble. Here is one example of the thirties of the last century. Then they leaned more on romance and a sense of duty.

In the newspaper Birobidzhan Zvezda (12+) of 1938, on October 4, a letter of three military personnel was published, although they were born in the west of the country, the service was held in the Far East:
“The deadline for our service in the Red Army in the Far East has ended and we can go home. But we firmly loved our beautiful land and decided to stay here forever, for life. Birobidzhan, a Jewish autonomous region, especially attracts us. We want to take an active part in the construction of this area.
To this end, we, having finished service in the Red Army, arrived in the mountains. Birobidzhan and have already entered the work: Subbotin and Kotov in the regional union, and Kudakov – the driver of the regional committee of the Komsomol.
We call on all the Far East, junior commanders and Red Army soldiers, whose service life ends in the fall of 1938 – to follow our example, to stay and work in the Far East. “

Here is another treatment for that time, dedicated to the call to the craft and railway schools and the School of the Federal Penitentiary Service (factory training). In the days of the Patriotic War, when adults fought with the enemy on the fronts, adolescents called to study at the Federal Penitentiary Service in order to acquire a specialty and replace the fathers who went to the front from the machine.
In the room for October 4, 1944, Semyon Shakhrai, a teenager who submitted an application to the school for training says:
“The homeland now needs qualified workers. Nazi invaders ruined many of our cities, factories, factories. All this should be restored, rebuilding it again. I consider it my duty to help the Motherland in this hard work. And when I found out that I was announced to the school of factory education, I came to the mobilization department and asked me to study in this school.
For a long time I dreamed of becoming a good electrician. And finally, my dream comes true. I will receive this specialty within the walls of the school and can help my beloved homeland in the restoration of destroyed cities and villages. ”

The newspaper’s issue publishes an article “Doctors' Conference”, telling that in Birobidzhan doctors of the city hospital and clinics gathered at a traditional conference to discuss reports on the latest achievements of Soviet medicine. This time, reports on the methods and methods of blood transfusion were discussed.
