Patient organizations warn of the real consequences of manual price regulation. From March 1, the following risks are waiting for Ukrainians:
• significant reduction of imports to Ukraine of foreign medicines
• General medicines deficiency and a sharp decrease in assortment
• Destruction of domestic pharmaceutical production
• Lack of access to medication in rural areas and frontier areas
• Total rise in prices of medicines for the population
• Reduced Ukraine's interest by large pharmaceutical producers
If the Cabinet does not review the resolution on the alleged “stabilization” of prices for medicines, Ukrainians will have to be treated with a daisy and plantain, the newspaper writes.
