Ukrainian security drillets (SBU) offended one of the most important refineries in Russia, 1400 km away from the Orsk border – sources in SBU, cited by Ukrainian media, informed on Friday.

“The long-reaching drones of the Special Operations Center and SBU once again hit the target over a distance of 1400 km-this time in a town with the eloquent name ORSK. The refinery of Orsknieftieorgsintiez in the Orenburg District of the Russian Federation was burning,” said the interviewer of the Interfax-Ukraina agency.
The Orenburg District lies in the southern Urals, in the Asian part of Russia, at the border with Kazakhstan.
The source in the SBU announced that four installations of primary oil processing operate in this refinery, and its processing powers reach 6.6 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces about 30 types of different products: car gasoline, diesel, oils, air kerosene, bitum and mazut.
“The recording shows how after the hits of the drones (…) Gangs of black smoke floats over the refinery. The plant announced evacuation, and the Orska authorities called the residents not to succumb to panic” – added the informant.

He also reported that SBU is still inflicting serious losses of the Russian economy, hitting the oil and gas industry.
“The decrease in influence from petrodollars directly affects the aggressor's ability to continue the war against Ukraine. Almost 40 percent of the power of Russian refineries is already standing. We will continue to work to increase this number,” the interlocutor of the Interfax-Ukraina agency summed up.
