The national U16 of Romania, prepared by the coach Ion Marin (70 years), has a new name on the list of convocations: Jose-Andrei Roștaș, an Austrian striker playing for SV Kapfenberg, in the second football step in Austria.
Born in Lleida, Spain, but raised in Austrian football, Rostas was first included in a youth representative of Romania. He will be part of the “small tricolor” lot for the 4 nations tour, scheduled from October 6-14, in the province of Kocaeli, Turkey.
For this representative, the players born after January 1, 2008 are eligible, according to frf.ro.
Rostas scored a spectacular goal in Austria Cup
Although he is only 17 years old, Rosăș has already managed to draw attention through a spectacular success in the Austria Cup. In the match between SV Kapfenberg and Lustenau (2-0), the striker entered the second half and scored after a sensation phase: he took the ball in the central area, speeds between two opponents and wrapped at the long corner.
