4 days after Roscoe's death, his dog, Lewis Hamilton (40) returned to the circuit, before the Grand Formula 1 prize in Singapore, and thanked those who were with him during this difficult period.

At the end of last week, Roscoe, Lewis Hamilton's dog, a pilot for Ferrari, died, after a fight with the disease. The 40 -year -old athlete had taken a few days off to be with his pet and had asked for fans.

Roscoe, Lewis Hamilton's dog, died on Sunday: “The hardest decision of my life”

On Monday, September 29, Hamilton announced Roscoe's death.

After 4 days in which he was supported by the devices, fighting with all the power he had, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe. He never stopped fighting, even to the end.

I feel so grateful and honored that I divided my life with such a beautiful soul, an angel and a true friend. To bring Roscoe to my life was the best decision I have ever made and I will always cherish the memories we have created together.

Even though I lost Coco, I was never put before the situation of falling asleep, even though I know that my mother and many close friends did. It's one of the most painful experiences and I feel a deep connection with everyone who has gone through the loss of a beloved animal.

Although it was so difficult, to have him was one of the most beautiful parts of life – to love so much and be loved back.

Thank you all for the love and support you have shown to Roscoe over the years. It was so special to see and feel.

Lewis Hamilton, a few days after the sad event: “I can hardly wait to go back”

Meanwhile, the World Champion Septuple returned to the circuit, preparing for the big prize in Singapore, the main race taking place on Sunday, October 5th. Arriving in front of the journalists, Hamilton spoke about the experience he went through:

It was really overwhelming, to be honest, to see how many people around the world were touched by Roscoe and it was exciting to receive [atâtea mesaje]. I was unable to answer everyone, but he was the most important in my life so it was a very difficult experience.

I know how many people in the world have gone through this and I know how to have a pet that gives you such a great love and a wonderful experience. ”

Hamilton thanked those who were with him and said he was excited to compete again:

Now I can hardly wait to get back to a monopost and do what I love. I think there are many people who deserve a good result from me and the team. The people who followed me and those who asked me how they were and supported me this year, but also in the last week.

I think in times that they really see the people who are with you and it was, as I said, overwhelming and very well received to see this, “said the British, quoted by The Telegraph.
