Fragments of the next drone were found on Monday near the city of Tulcza, in the east of Romania, near the border with Ukraine – said Minister of Defense Ionut Mosteanu. He added that the remains of the unmanned aerial vehicle are currently collected and will be used when investigating in this matter.

On September 13, Romania's air force intercepted the drone, which flew into the airspace of the country; The machine was followed by two F-16 fighters. A day later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for a conversation between the Russian ambassador Vladimir Lipajew to protest against violating Romanian aircraft.
Fragments of the Russian drone equipped with active explosives were found in the east of the country at the beginning of September.
In the territory of Romania, which divides the 650-kilometer border with Ukraine, fragments of Russian drones have repeatedly decreased over the past year, when Moscow attacked Ukrainian port infrastructure.
At the end of August, the Romanian parliament adopted a law enabling the army to shoot down unmanned aerial space. This will be possible based on the analysis of the level of danger and risk to human life and property.
The Ministry of Defense stated at the time that – according to the new law – the destruction of drones or manned aircraft is the last resort. (PAP)
