The historical Moscow stadium “Metallurg” is reconstructed until the end of 2025. Baumanchka students will bed coating for the game, build a cafe and a concert platform.
The sports complex will accommodate fields for football and rugby, a gym and recreation areas for Baumanka students. As well as a workout frame in the style of “Russian ninja”, courts for large tennis, volleyball and basket.
Plus: a scene for concerts and a cafe with a summer terrace. The territory around the stadium will be landscaped, new lanterns will be delivered and parking on 72 cars will be placed.
Metallurg opened in the early 1920s for the workers of the Sickle and Hammer plant. The legends of Soviet sports trained there. In 2022, the stadium was handed over to MSTU. Bauman, and in 2024 they began to put in order and modernize under the University CCT program.
