The organizer of the dissatisfaction march is the National Trade Union Agreement. The protesters gathered at noon in front of the OPZZ building at ul. Copernicus in Warsaw, from where to pass ul. Świętokrzyska, Mazowiecka, through Piłsudski Square, and Krakowskie Przedmieście to Zamkowy Square.

– Thanks to employees, this country is developing, this country is moving forward, this country can boast of success. We employees are the salt of this earth. Unfortunately, the Prime Minister forgot about it. The Prime Minister does not remember us – said the head of OPZZ Piotr Ostrowski to the gathered.

He added that the government “frozen wages in the budget sphere for next year, limits the increase in the minimum wage, does not want to hear about internships, and where workplaces are liquidated, it leaves employees alone.”

Employees want to earn money, they want to have good health care, want to have efficiently, well -functioning education, want to have good transport, good public services, and finally want to earn well – emphasized Ostrowski. He noted that for now in Poland “we have European prices, not European salaries.”

According to the head of OPZZ, the government “has no idea for economic and industrial policy, and the development of the country.”

Even before the start of the meeting, the co -chairman of the Total party Adrian Zandberg at a press conference announced the submission of amendment to the budget raising remuneration in the public sector by 10 percent.

– What happened in recent weeks calls for vengeance to heaven. The government did not speak seriously with employees at all. He proposed a budget that is outrageous. This is a budget, according to which there will be no real wage increases for budget employees next year. This is a broken promise of Donald Tusk, this is a broken promise of the new left, this is a broken promise of all the parties that are in this government – said Zandberg.

The march gathered trade union representatives from various industries – education, mining, industry, transport and trade. He took part in the protest, among others President of the ZNP Sławomir Broniarz. Participants kept banners with the slogans: “quite disregarding employees”, “I work to live, I don't live to work”, “don't tighten your belt, tighten your fist.”

Protesters demand, among others higher wages and job protection, solid public services – education, health care, administration, efficient labor courts, shorter working time, introduction of internships, full -time jobs instead of garbage trucks, as well as social dialogue with the government.

The Undersecretary of State in the Chancellery of President Mateusz Kotecki informed on Platform X that together with the head of the office Zbigniew Bogucki he met on Saturday with the OPZZ delegation. The meeting was attended by: the head of the Union Piotr Ostrowski, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Metal and Hutniki in Poland, Mirosław Grzybek, chairman of the trade union of employees of Huta Łabędy, vice -chairman of the Federation Artur Jacek Wilkoń.
