Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned NATO and the European Union on Saturday that “any aggression against my country will receive a decisive response,” reports Reuters and France Presse.

“Russia is accused of being about the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union countries. President Putin has repeatedly dismantled these challenges,” said Sergei Lavrov in a speech before the General Assembly of the United Nations.

A day ago, the Kremlin cataloged as “irresponsible” the warnings that the NATO Alliance would be prepared to break down the Russian planes entering the aerial space of the member countries.

Moreover, a Russian diplomat offered a direct answer on how Moscow will react if his aircraft will be shot down in NATO's airspace. Reacting to a statement by the US President in this regard, Aleksei Meșkov, Russia's ambassador to France, said that if such an act had committed, “would be war”.

Lavrov accuses Israel of wanting to “blow up” the Middle East

Also in the speech held on Saturday at the UN, the Russian Foreign Minister accused Israel of wanting to “throw the Middle East.

“The illegal use of Israel against Palestinians and its aggressive actions against Iran, Qatar, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq threatens to take the entire Middle East,” said Sergei Lavrov.

The West “sabotages” diplomacy, accuses Sergei Lavrov

The head of the Russian MAE has also accused the Western countries of “sabotaging” diplomacy, by insisting on the reinstitution of sanctions against Iran in relation to its nuclear program.

According to Sergei Lavrov, the rejection by the UN Security Council on Friday, a Russian-Chinese text meant to postpone the resumption of sanctions against Iran “exposed the West policy to sabotage the search for constructive solutions”-as he claimed to the UN, denouncing a “blackmail”.
