The numbers speak for themselves. Nearly two out of three respondents believe that Poland is not safe today, while the opposite opinion is only 26 percent. Only 11 percent respondents could not determine their position. CBOS experts noted that in the most difficult historical moments, such as the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014, the results in this matter were much lower – then 47 percent saw the threat. respondents.

Comparing the situation of 2022, the percentage of people who see the threat increased significantly. In May last year, at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, 42 percent expressed such opinions. respondents, while the opposite opinion was 43 percent.
