The amounts proposed by the Ministry of Education for students with average 10 at the Baccalaureate and National Assessment

The Ministry of Education announced that it has launched on Thursday, in public consultation, the draft Government Decision on granting financial incentives to students who obtained the average 10 at the national exams in the June-July session 2025.

According to the statement sent by the ministry, the project provides for the granting of 2,000 lei for each secondary school graduate, which obtained the average 10 at the National Assessment 2025, respectively the amount of 5,000 lei for each high school graduate with a general average 10 in the summer session of the baccalaureate exam.

“The proposed amounts are in the same amounts as in the previous year, and the nominal list of the beneficiaries and the way of granting the financial incentives will be approved, subsequently, by order of minister,” the ministry said.

How many students did the average 10

The Ministry of Education mentioned that in this year's summer sessions 42 high school graduates obtained the average 10 at the National Baccalaureate exam (32 at the National Baccalaureate exam, the June 2025 session, 1 in the special session and 9 on the German baccalaureate exam, the June 2025 session), while the 85th graduates had 85.

“We succeeded, through the fiscal-budgetary measures adopted, to ensure the payment of salaries and scholarships this year and to stabilize for development and reforms in the years that come. In addition to this objective, during which the preservation of the social component was determining (social scholarships and support for the categories of students in various risk situations), we tried to secure the minister,” David, quoted in the Ministry's statement.
