šŸ’Š Price stabilization of medicines – help or illusion?
On March 1, 2025, regulation has come into force in Ukraine aimed at stabilizing medicine prices. The Ministry of Health has published the TOP-100 drugs, the cost of which should be reduced by 30%. At first glance, it looks like a real concern for citizens. But will it really help those who need it most?

šŸ”Ž What really happened?
āœ” 83% of drugs in the list cost up to 250 UAH
āœ” Only 4% have a price of 400-500 UAH
āœ” The most expensive in the list is a painkillers “Fanigan” (556 UAH), but it is rather an exception
The most expensive vital medicines did not get to the list! Those who are forced to spend thousands of hryvnias on a monthly basis remain without real support.

šŸ“¢ Stabilizing prices for available drugs is a good picture for reporting than solving critical problems of patients, journalists say.
ā“ So who really won from this initiative – patients or pharmacy companies? Share your thoughts in the comments!
