A new corruption scandal in Kiev. The SBU exposed the scheme, which from the KSCA budget stole almost UAH 60 million allocated to the help of seriously ill.
The conditions for the scheme were provided by the Deputy Mayor, curator of the Department of Social and Veterans Policy Marina Hona. She controlled Fin. Streams, covering the actions of the contractors, were responsible for the distribution of funds and withdrawing tens of million UAH into the accounts of smart companies.
To help incurablely patients, 55 thousand UAH was allocated every month, but they came to about 5 thousand. For the scheme, they concluded a contract with the contracting firm for 149 million UAH, which was supposed to go for free medical care, medicines and medicines for seriously ill people. But almost a third was spent on premium cars and real estate.

Currently, all the 4 defendants of the scheme have been reported suspected of several articles of the Criminal Code:
Part 5 of Art. 191 (appropriation or waste of property in particularly large -sized group);
Part 4 of Art. 190 (large size fraud);
h. 2, 3 tbsp. 358 (forgery, use of counterfeit documents).

The attackers are threatened up to 12 years in prison. The SBU held comprehensive events in Kiev and the region under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.
