Superliga: The surprise of the beginning of the season risks the deposition. Footballers ask for their money

For UTA Arad, the excellent path from the start of the championship is endangered by the debts that the club has accumulated from the past seasons, writes Digisport.ro.
UTA has been in accordance with a preventive agreement for about a month. The measure taken for the resolution of the debts does not solve all the current problems of the team. UTA has to cover a huge hole, over 5.5 million euros. During the preventive agreement, the court will supervise the company, in the attempt to avoid bankruptcy. The difference from insolvency is not only related to the “cutting” of payments, possible in insolvency, but also that the current leadership remains in positions, without being appointed a special administrator.
The UTA case is in charge of Răzvan Zăvăleanu, the man who “survived” with CFR Cluj and Dinamo in insolvency procedures. He was more dealing with U Cluj, so tg. Mureș and Gaz Metan Mediaș.
More than 10 players passed to UTA addressed FIFA and obtained decisions that oblige the Aradians to pay. They complain that they have no communication with the heads of Arad. Each of them has to receive tens of thousands of euros, and the total “enforceable” reaches several hundred thousand.
UTA has exceeded payment terms. It risks prohibitions on transfers and, in extreme case, even to be submitted.
Alexandru Meszar, the leader of the UTA, tried to minimize the impact, in a statement made for Digisport.ro on September 10: “It is a little exaggerated. There are disputes in the role, but if necessary they will be paid. Year, only the last 1-2 months (…) Any dispute has a final.
After 10 stages, UTA Arad is in the 7th place in Superliga, with 15 points. It has only one defeat and a positive goal, 15-14. Adrian Mihalcea's team was noted as one of the most spectacular in the current season.
