Analysts of the DSM Group marketing agency, which specializes in the research of the pharmaceutical market, compiled a rating of the largest pharmacy chains in Russia according to the results of the first half of 2025

In 2025, the Russian pharmaceutical market continues to demonstrate impressive dynamics, as evidenced by updated ratings of pharmacy chains on the retail market. The analysis of the data for the first half of the year allows you to identify not only the main players, but also the key trends that form the future industry.

The pharmaceutical top headed the Rigla network with a sales volume of 130.9 billion rubles. The growth of this indicator in the company was 47 % compared to the period: January – June 2024. In Russia, the pharmaceutical enterprise has 6207 sales points.

The April network has almost three thousand more trading branches (9139), but it took only second place in the ranking. The sales volume of 126 billion rubles with an increase of 48 %.

The Planet of Health improved sales by 29 % and was on the third line with a retail turnover of 81.8 billion. Moreover, this network has only 2.9 thousand outlets, which is significantly smaller than two leaders.

Leading pharmacy networks, such as Rigla and Planet of Health, continue to strengthen their positions, largely due to the active implementation of digital technologies. Their mobile applications offer not only a convenient search and ordering of drugs, but also access to personalized discounts, loyalty programs, and the possibility of obtaining online consultations.
