The invasion of Russian fighters into the Estonian airspace creates the impression that Russia either wants to escape the conflict and draw more countries into it, or has no full control over planes and drones – said the US ambassador at the UN Michael Waltz during the Security Council meeting. In turn, the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski warned Russia and threatened with shooting down.

– This event, which is a consequence of the invasion of Russian drones to the Polish airspace, creates the impression that Russia either wants to escalate the conflict and draw more countries into it, or there is no full control over those who serve its fighters and drones – said the new representative of the United States in his first speech in the UN.
– Each of these scenarios is very disturbing, considering that Russia is a global nuclear power. I call Russia again as a permanent member of this council, to maintain international peace and security, to respect the sovereignty of their neighbors and stop violating their airspace – he added.
Waltz announced that the US would defend the territory of NATO and called for Moscow to end the war in Ukraine. (PAP)
Sikorski: You have been warned
If another rocket or aircraft is shot down, do not come here with complaints, you were warned, “he said To Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski on Monday at the UN Security Council meeting on the invasion of Russian fighters into the airspace of Estonia.
– I have only one request to the Russian government: if the next bullet or plane goes into our airspace without permission, intentionally or by mistake, and it will be shot down, and the wreck will fall on NATO, please, do not come to complain here. You have been warned – said the head of Polish diplomacy.
Sikorski stated that Russia is not able to live in peace with neighbors. Remembering how Moscow contributed to subsequent conflicts, including World War II, he turned to the Kremlin: – Please, don't start another one. (PAP)
