PKO Bank Polski announced that on Sunday, September 21, 2025, it will carry out service work from north to 13.00. During this time, customers may encounter difficulties in using some banking services. However, the bank assured that payment cards will operate at ATMs and stationary stores. In the case of online payments by card, as part of 3D-secure 2 security, only authorization will be available with the SMS code and PIN for the card.
The bank recommends customers to make any significant transactions before starting technical work. The announcement emphasized that earlier planning of the operation would avoid inconvenience.
Service work at the Pekao bank
Bank Pekao also announced service work that is aimed at improving the quality of services rendered. In the announcement, the bank announced that at night from Saturday to Sunday, September 21, from 0.30 to 4.30, it would not be possible to make immediate transfers of Express Elixir and BLIK transfers in the Peopay application.
In addition, on Monday, September 22, from 1.00 to 4,25, customers may also encounter restrictions on the implementation of this type of operation. Bank Pekao recommends to plan all important transfers in advance and apologizes for any inconvenience.
How to prepare for a technical break?
- You will not log in to the Pekao24 service and the Peopay application and the Etrader Pekao platform,
- You will not use Blik in the peopay application,
- you will not order a transfer,
- you will not order a transfer from a credit card,
- you will not complete an internet transaction using 3-D Secure code,
- You may have difficulties in using a debit card, ATMs and payment terminals of our bank,
- You may have difficulty using open banking,
- The Peopay Kids application will also be unavailable. “
