President of the Companies from the Hreit Group arrested. Prosecutor's office: They are victims all over Poland
The prosecutor's office in Łódź announced on Friday about the arrest of the President of the Companies from the Hreit SA Capital Group. He heard allegations of fraud to the detriment of investors and buyers of apartments in Łódź, Rzeszów, Kraków, Gliwice and Sosnowiec. Losses reach many millions of zlotys and affect hundreds of victims.

“The investigation is being conducted throughout the country, and by the decision of the National Prosecutor's Office, the District Prosecutor's Office in Łódź was designated as competent to conduct proceedings regarding acts committed by persons managing the HRE INVESTMENT Capital Group. The Regional Prosecutor in Łódź appointed a special investigation team consisting of two prosecutors and four police officers.”
It shows that the president of companies from the Hreit SA capital group heard an allegation covering the “crime of fraud in relation to the property of great value, i.e. 565 people to an unfavorable regulation property in total amounts of over PLN 143 million, 245 665 euros, 10,000 Swiss francs and $ 182,294. “
“The suspect misled the victims as to the actual financial situation of entities included in the HRE capital group and the possibility of fulfilling the investment contracts concluded with them within the agreed time,” reads the communiqué.
The allegations made to the suspect cover fraud to the detriment of the buyers of investment apartments Łozowa 48 in Łódźwhere the prosecutor's office estimated not less than PLN 6.3 million, Tuwima Gardens in Łódź (loss not less than PLN 16.2 million), Tuwima Sky in Łódź (losses over PLN 9 million) and Resovia Sky in Rzeszówwhere fraud is alleged by over PLN 5.2 million.
“For the Pachonian Sky investment in Krakow, we estimate fraud in the amount of a great value of not less than PLN 5.4 million, for investments Apartments Dąbrowski in Gliwice it is a government of losses not lower than PLN 1.93 million, and for the investment Sosnowiec Ostrogórska in Sosnowiec we are talking about the value of damage not less than a million zlotys,” says the message.
It shows that the allegations made by the prosecutor's office to the president of companies in the capital group include, among others providing false information and data contained in information prospectus, as well as by managing false assurances and information as to the state and the possibility of making the investment, as well as irregularities in keeping accounting and accounting documentation by not submitting financial statements to the court within the required time.
The number of victims will increase
The prosecutor's office adds that “at the current stage the charges are not referred to the full list of victims. The investor base contains over 8,300 items, and the buyers of apartments – above 2,300 items. Currently, over 600 investors and 200 buyers were listened to.”
The District Prosecutor's Office in Łódź together with the Provincial Police Headquarters in Łódź sent applications to perform activities to police units throughout Poland. The thread of harming subcontractors providing construction services is also examined.
“The case files already contain 346 thematic volumes, which translates into over 70,000 pages of evidence,” the prosecutor's office said.
Her announcement shows that the investment threads of the Park Sp. z o. o. (Rumia Formeli 17), Apartments Barona Sp. z o. o. (Apartments Barona Opole), Wrocław Zacharzyce Sp. z o. o. (Apartments Kościuszki/Zacharzyce Wrocław), Wrocław Bieńkowice Sp. z o. o. (Green City Bieńkowice Wrocław), Parkowa Świdnica Sp. z o. o. (Apartments Parkova 5 in Świdnica).

Prosecutor Paweł Jasiak announced that the suspect during the interrogation did not plead guilty to him, but he made extensive explanations.
Property security was used
“In the opinion of the prosecutor's office, the suspect's explanations were not reflected in the evidence gathered. Therefore, we used property security by seizing funds on his bank accounts,” said the prosecutor's office.
The prosecutor also decided to send a request to the court for the application of detention on remand, which raised the possibility of imposing a severe punishment against the suspect and associated with fear of hiding evidence and influence on witnesses.
Prosecutor Jasiak explained that each of the accused of the suspect is punishable by a penalty of up to 10 years imprisonment, and in the accident the use of a qualified form, which refers to the amount of a crime exceeding PLN 10 million, criminal liability increases to 25 years imprisonment.
He added that at the request of the prosecutor's office, “by decision of the Łódź-Śródmieście District Court of September 18, 2025, an insulation agent was used for a period of 3 months.” (PAP)
