The Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the three Russian MiG-31 fighters flew into the airspace of this country on Friday morning near the island of Vaindloo in the Gulf of Finnish and remained there for about 12 minutes. Charge d'Affaires of Russia was called to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a protest note was given to him.

“Last week Poland, today Estonia. Russia provokes once again and shows that it is not interested in peace. Poland declares Solidarity with Estonia and strongly condemns the violation of its airspace by Russia,” Sikorski wrote on Friday on Platform X.

According to Estonian services, Russian fighters did not have flight plans, and their transponders were turned off. They also did not establish two -way radio communication with Estonian air traffic control.
