A man from Arad was detained for 24 hours and is criminally investigated after throwing ten dog chicks. Six of them died, and four were found alive, according to a statement sent by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Arad Court.

According to investigators, the man, identified as FA, would have put the dog chicks in a household bag and had abandoned them at a trash bin inside the UTA Industrial Park, in the municipality of Arad.
“The suspect has thrown at a trash bin, inside the UTA Industrial Park, in the municipality of Arad, a household bag in which there were ten canine specimens that are about 24 – 48 hours ago.“, The prosecutors' statement, quoted by Agerpres, shows.
The inquiry in progress
The man is accused of shattering animals and killing animals with intent, without right. The file is instrumented by the Office for the Protection of Arad animals, within the County Police Inspectorate, under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office.
