Krasnoyarsk became the “leader” of the All-Russian environmental action “I choose clean air”

The results of the All -Russian environmental campaign “I choose clean air” were summed up. Krasnoyarsk was recognized as the “Leader City”.

The government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that the capital demonstrated the highest result – more than 125 thousand “pure kilometers” passed by the participants. These people regularly refused gasoline cars in favor of alternative types of movement.

Over 25 thousand people joined the regional stage of the action, organized by the Ministry of Ecology of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Among those noted at the federal level are the ambassadors of the Ambassadors from Krasnoyarsk Vladimir Musienko and Vladislav Demin. The government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory won the nomination for the best communication support, and the founder of the Krasnoyarsk Hyking project Anatoly Belarusia was recognized as the most active participant in the events in Krasnoyarsk. The winners received awards from recycled materials made by volunteers of the Ecosystem movement.

“For Krasnoyarsk, the action is of particular importance, as well as the issues of ecology. When engaged in the modernization of industrial production and the implementation of modern technologies, we understand that only this problem cannot be solved. It is important to connect residents to joint work to improve the environmental situation with authorities, enterprises, public organizations. Moreover, the action showed the interest of the Krasnoyarsk residents in this topic, ”said Valery Semenov, Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Krasnoyarsk as a winning city will receive a special status. In 2026, in the anniversary season of the promotion, more mass events, including environmental runs, bicycle parades and walking marathons. Particular attention will be paid to working with youth, educational institutions, infrastructure development for environmentally friendly transport and educational eco -programs.

“I choose clean air” takes place as part of the federal project “Clean Air” of the National Project “Environmental Welfare”. In the region, the action was supported by five cities: Krasnoyarsk, Lesosibirsk, Minusinsk, Achinsk and Norilsk. From May 17 to September 7, about 70 events were held in the region.
