How the Ukrainians have shattered the Russian attack capabilities on the Pokrovsk front

The Ukrainian forces have launched a wide campaign on the Donbas front, aiming at Russian bases, training camps and troops concentrations to systematically degrade Moscow's offensive capabilities, which has put impressive forces to conquer territory in the region, reports Euromaidan Press.

Together with the terrestrial operations, these efforts have already worked and caused 60,000 initial Russian losses, consisting of 110,000 soldiers, from the beginning of the offensive on the Eastern Pokrovsk Strategic city.
Attacks on command infrastructure
A new Ukrainian attack took place following one of the most significant blows against the Topaz factory in Donets, which housed a Russian command post.
Eye witnesses reported thick smoke, multiple explosions and visible damages to repair and logistics facilities.
In parallel, the Ukrainians have repeatedly struck concentrations of troops, energy and control infrastructure, preventing the Russians from regr they immediately or to restore their attack areas. The blows have been confirmed by several videos.
Precision strokes near the front line
Near the front line, near Mirnohrad, the concentration of Russian forces were also targeted by Ukrainians.
In a geolocalized video, a MIG-29 launches a GBU-62 JDAM bomb on a Russian assault group, as well as on the nearby ammunition deposit, destroying supplies and troops.
In another attack, a similar precision weapon demolished a building that housed an enemy assault group, driving in front of the Russian operation.
Such attacks undermined Russia's ability to concentrate troops or prepare combined attacks, which would have been dangerous to Pokrovsk.
Systematic destruction of air defense systems
Attacks against Russian air defenses have meant fewer obstacles to drones, rocket launches and Ukrainian hunting aircraft against high -value targets.
For example, a Zupark radar near Donețk was destroyed after sending a recognition drone, followed by a Himars artillery attack. Two Panțir-S1 systems were eliminated in 24 hours, one by one RAM-2X drone attack, the other in SNIJNE by another Ukrainian drone still unidentified, lacking Russia of critical mobile defense coverage.
Near Donețk, a Russian Buk-M2 system, estimated at over 10 million US dollars, has been geolocalized and disabled by Himars, as can be seen in a video published by a Ukrainian blog.
Another Buk-M1 was first followed to a warehouse of a drone and targeted without success. But when the Russian crews tried to move it, the Ukrainian operators rejected their fire and destroyed it in a later attack.
Devastating impact on Russian forces
These types of Ukrainian attacks have led to extremely high losses for Russia in the Pokrovsk direction in the last ten months, while the Russian command has repeatedly tried flanking, infiltration and direct attacks meant to conquer Pokrovsk and to section their supply routes.
Ukrainian analysts estimate that Russia has already lost about 60,000 soldiers, killed and injured only during the Pokrovsk offensive. The daily number of victims of the armed forces and Russian equipment has increased vertiginously, especially since the Russian piercing near Dobropillia failed, and the Ukrainian forces have begun to isolate and eliminate the enemy units trapped.
In addition, Ukrainian air raids against band concentrations and training camps behind the front destroyed Russian units before they reach the front line, reducing the pressure on defenders and allowing Ukraine to reject the attacks more efficiently.
Multistrate strategic campaign
Ukraine carries out a multi -stratified, well synchronized campaign, first suppressing the Russian air defense, then attacking the control stations and logistics nodes and, finally, channeling the damage to the rear Russian forces or waiting to be carried out.
Thanks to these efforts, Russia's attempts to organize large -scale attacks have been repeatedly delayed or canceled, as the commanders are affected by the loss of training bases, supply deposits, repair facilities and related staff.
The intense targeting of their control structure has left whole units and even confusion -disturbing, disturbed communications and shot operational reserves.
Strategic long -term implications
Overall, recent Ukraine attacks on military bases, training camps and air defense systems represent more than tactical successes.
There have been some strategic decisive in mitigation and, in many cases, blocking the plans to resume the offensive on Pokrovsk. By attacking on the rear and infrastructure areas, as well as deactivating air defenses that protect these targets, Ukraine not only protects its front line, but also creates the conditions under which Russian forces must operate exposed and fragmented.
All of this gives Ukraine, breathing space on several flanks, reduces the pressure of attack, reduces the offensive rhythm and forces the enemy to defend itself instead of assault.
In addition, it increases the costs of any new Russian attack at levels that risk being sustainable, no matter how many additional units decides to transfer to this sector.
