Donald Trump criticizes American media. I want to take away their licenses

The US leader commented on the controversy related to the suspension of the ABC television of the comedian program Jimmy Kimmel after the threats of the head of the Federal Communications Commission Brendan Carr, who suggested receiving the license station. Talking to journalists on board Air Force One on the way back from a visit to Great Britain, Trump praised Carra, claiming that he was doing great job. He added that – perhaps – he should receive a license from all public television, because they are, in his opinion, biased.

– I read somewhere that television networks are in 97 percent. against me. (…) They are in 97 percent Against, they make me completely bad advertising. (…) They get a license. I think maybe it should be taken away from them Trump said.

It is not clear what data the president referred to, although he had already given similar opinions.

When you have a station and you have evening programs, and they only pound in Trump, they do nothing else … If you look back, they probably didn't have any conservative or something for years. (…) They have a license. They are not allowed to do this – argued the American president.

Kimmel's program was suspended because of the words of the comedian, who during the program suggested that Charlie Kirk's killer could be a right -wing man, and “Gang Maga” raises political capital on a murder. The decision was announced hours after Carr demanded a photo of the comedian program, threatening to take action against Disney, the owner of ABC television.

Trump was also asked if he really thinks that leftist activists, who, shouting Propalestine slogans, disrupted his dinner in a restaurant last week, should go to prison.

– I certainly think it was very inappropriate. (…) It's a matter of the fact that if you look at it, how they behaved, then – I think they were a threat – said the president.
