Romania – Moldova, show on the National Arena

On October 9, from 9:00 pm, the National Arena will be the host of a historical moment: the first match in a UEFA window played in Bucharest between Romania and the republic Moldavia.

The Romanian Football Federation has prepared a larger event, in partnership with the Moldovan Football Federation, with activities, concerts and a special program.

Program of the day: From Fan Zone to Live concert

6:00 pm – The gates of the stadium and the area of ​​Fanilor are opened, an interactive space where FRF and partners will organize activities and surprises for supporters.
7:00 pm -Extraordinary concert held by Guess Who and the band Zdob and Zdub, who will transform the national arena into a festival area.

The national hymns-“Wake up, Romanian!” And “our language” will be interpreted by Lidia Buble and Irina Rimes, emblematic singers from Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

A match, a common holiday

FRF points out that the event has a special symbolic load: Romania and Moldova, two twin countries through history and culture, for the first time an official UEFA scene on Romanian land.

“This meeting goes beyond the sports borders and becomes a real holiday of friendship, the connection between two united countries, culture and the same passion for football,” FRF said.

Moreover, the Romanian Federation announced that the artists participating in the show will sing Pro Bono, without requesting remuneration.

The tickets for the Romania-Moldova match are for sale on Friday, September 19, on the official website bilete.frf.ro

Prices vary between 40 RON (lawns) and 100 RON (stands).
Children and young people benefit from discounts:

  • 10 RON for children under 15, with access to Family Zone areas;

  • 30 RON for young people between 15 and 24 years old.

An account can order a maximum of 4 tickets, and in the Family Zone up to 5, of which at least one must be for a child under 15 years.

Also on Friday, the tickets for Romania – Austria will be put on sale, scheduled on October 12, also on the National Arena, from 9:45 pm.

History of Duels Romania – Moldova

Moldova is currently in the 151st place in the FIFA standings, but it has been very close to a qualification at the European Championship in 2024. So far, Romania and Moldova have met five times, all the parties being friendly. “Tricolors” have been imposed four times:
