In Iran, a death sentence on a political prison was carried out on Wednesday – said the Iranian Mizan agency. Babak Szabazi was sentenced to alleged espionage to Israel, but according to human rights defenders, he was detained for a letter with a help offer written in 2022 to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelanski.

“Babak's message to President Zelanski with an offer to help in the war with Russia was used as an example of espionage to Israel, who allegedly taught Babak to use Microsoft Word,” said Iran Human Rights.
The authorities say that Sabazi collected and sold Israeli intermediaries confidential information about Iranian data centers and security installations, AP said, reminding that Iran provides Russia, drones used to attack Ukraine.
The Iran International portal added that a judge sentenced to death to the death penalty, to whom the US authorities imposed in 2019 sanctions for conducting dishonest trials, forcing testimonies and issuing strict judgments towards journalists and political prisoners.
Since the 12-day June war with Israel, at least eight people were lost in Iran for alleged cooperation with Israeli intelligence.
