Donald Trump of the keys on Russia. “European sanctions are not harsh enough”

– They don't do what belongs to them. NATO must take a grip, Europe has to take a grip – Europeans are my friends, but they buy pus from Russia – said Trump during a conversation with journalists before returning to the White House from a weekend stay in their estate in New Jersey. – So you can't expect that we will be the only one who, you know, do it all. But Europe buys oil from Russia. I don't want them to buy oil, and the sanctions they apply are not harsh enough. I am ready to impose sanctions, but they will have to exacerbate their sanctions in proportion to what I do – he added.

The US president said that he had already received response to his Saturday letter to NATO countries, in which he demanded to stop buying Russian oil before he imposed new sanctions against Russia. Trump estimated that NATO countries would fulfill his request and that “they know he is right.” He also noted that he also meant shopping for Russian gas, as well as Russian oil re -exported by third countries.

When asked if he intends to impose new restrictions on China, the American president said he would “see”, but he noted that his administration had already severely hit Beijing in many ways. At the same time, he stated that the ongoing trade talks with China in Madrid were going well. He admitted, however, that it is possible that he would enforce the law on the prohibition of Tiktok in the USA, even if he would like the application to continue to work due to the fact that he owes it to his success among the young electorate.

When asked about the impasse in peace conversations between Russia and Ukraine and the faint perspectives of the meeting of Vladimir Putin with President Volodymyr Zelnski, Trump said that these leaders hate each other too much and that his mediation would be necessary.

– There will be talks; It doesn't matter if we call it a peak or rush, but I will probably have to collect them – they hate each other so much that they can hardly talk to each other – said Trump, adding that such a meeting will come to “soon”.

The president also announced that next Sunday he would go to the funeral of the murdered right -wing activist Charlie Kirk in Phoenix. He again stated that only the left is responsible for political violence in the country and suggested that some organizations and activists are already subjects of the prosecutor's office.
