The final stage of the Romanian Tour 2025 ended today with Radosław Frątczak and Cesare Chesini celebrating after 14 laps on the urban circuit in Bucharest. Radosław won the victory in Sprint, while Cesare became the general winner of the 57th edition of the Romanian Tour.
After five days when the platoon crossed different areas of the country, the Romanian Tour 2025 ended in the Capital. Reserved to the sprinter, stage 5 did not bring major changes in the general standings, and the race leader, Cesare Chesini successfully defended his yellow shirt and won the Romanian Tour 2025.
Tour of Romania 2025: Cesare Chesini, Victory in Great Champion style
After the victory of Maximilian Schmidbauer in Râmnicu Vâlcea on the first day, Chesini took over the general ranking on the only stage with arrival in climbing, at Dichiu Pass, and kept his advantage in the coming days.
Neither the hilly stage towards Buzău, won by Seth Dunwoody, nor the side wind in Slobozia, where Jonathan Malte Rottmann won to get him out of calculations.
And on the last day, the Italian maintained his eight seconds without emotion to Colin Stüssi, while Alvaro Sagrado ended in third place.
