Traffic restrictions starting this night on DN 1, for carrying out the works at the future subway station “Otopeni”

Road traffic is restricted starting on Tuesday evening on DN 1, in Otopeni, to carry out the works at the future subway station on the Magistral.

The Infotrafic Center of the Police informs that traffic restrictions are imposed on DN 1 – Calea Bucureştilor (Otopeni area), to carry out the works at the future “Otopeni” subway station, within the Magistral 6 project that will ensure the direct connection from the North Railway Station.

The traffic restriction is permanent, starting on Tuesday evening, until the completion of the works.

During this period, the traffic will take place on two lanes on each direction, with the reposition of the median parapet.

Part of the traffic in the Bucharest-Ploieşti direction will be diverted on the street network of Otopeni: DN 1 (kilometer 13 + 750 meters)-Polonă Street-Floare de Cais Street-Argeş-Traian Street-Oituz Street-DN 1 (kilometer 14 + 650 meters).

The pedestrian circulation will be provided on provisional routes.

At the same time, car access to 23 August street in DN 1 will be restricted.

The alternative routes are: to the town of Tunari: DN 1 – Oituz Street – Floare de Cais street – 23 August street; Towards DN 1 inside Otopeni: Floare de Cais street – Polonă street or Traian street – Oituz street/Mărăşeşti street.

Road police recommend the drivers to respect the traffic restrictions, to reduce the speed in the work area, to ensure properly before changing the band, signaling this intention and avoiding any risky maneuver.
